HOW MANY PIERCINGS CAN I GET?
Typically 3 or less piercings in one sitting, depending on experience healing. These must fully heal before adding more. Too many healing piercings at once can cause strain on your immune system and cause healing issues.
PREGANCY
We do not perform piercing services to anyone currently pregnant. We do offer jewelry switches/removals.
BREASTFEEDING
Individuals who are breastfeeding can receive body piercings. However nipple piercings are not performed until 6 months after they have stopped breastfeeding.
MEDICATION
Anyone taking Accutane or any skin thinning medications must be off these medications for at least 8 months before receiving body piercings.
Anyone currently taking prescription immunosuppressants, or anti-coagulants (ex. Coumadin, Warfarin) must have clearance from their doctor before receiving body piercings.
Persons receiving hormone therapy can receive body piercings, however it can affect healing the time/process.
RECONSTRUCTION / SURGERY
Any anatomy that had been surgically operated on must be at least 12 months post-op and well healed before being pierced.
JEWELRY
We do not pierce with jewelry sourced from outside the studio. This is to ensure the quality, cleanliness, and appropriate sizing of what you are being pierced with. All jewelry we use is implant grade, high polish, nickel-free, and in compliance with the Association of Professional Piercers.
